Bylaws, Ordinances, and Incorporation Documents
Over the thirty-year history of the Taylor Lake Homeowners' Association, only three ordinances and one regulation have been enacted.  As used here there is there is no distinction made between  'ordinance' and 'regulation' and the two terms are used interchangeably.



TAYLOR LAKE HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION

Ordinances



    1. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any motor vehicle,
       including but not limited to automobiles, motor cycles, scooters,
       snowmobiles, or power boats, including but not limited to inboard
       or outboard motors except those powered by electricity, on the
       surface of Taylor Lake.



    2. It shall be unlawful for any person to leave or place a raft on the
       surface of Taylor Lake subsequent to November 1, and before April
       1, of any calendar year, with the exception that such rafts may be
       left upon the surface of Taylor Lake if secured within ten (10)
       feet of the shores of Taylor Lake to a fixed object upon said
       shore.



    3. It shall be unlawful for any person to dump, deposit or place or
       cause to be placed any grass clippings, lawn debris, barrels, trash,
       refuge or garbage into Taylor Lake or its abutting waterways.





TAYLOR LAKE HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION
ICE FISHING REGULATION
August 13, 1989




    1. These regulations shall apply to all Member Residents of Taylor
       Lake and their invited guests.  Member Residents shall be held
       responsible for violations of these regulations by invited guests
       and violations of these regulations by invited guests shall
       subject Member Residents to fines and penalties as if the
       violations were committed by the Member Residents.



    2. As used herein, the term “Member Resident(s)” shall mean Taylor
       Lake Homeowners’ Association members and residents of their
       household.



    3. All fishing holes greater than eight (8) inches in diameter shall
       be filled and marked when use is completed. Violation of this
       provision shall subject the Member Resident to a fine of not more
       than ten (10) dollars per violation.



    4. All trash and debris shall be removed from the surface of Taylor
       Lake at the conclusion of each fishing event.  Violation of this
       provision shall subject the Member Resident to a fine of not more
       than ten (10) dollars per violation.



    5. Ice Fishing Shanties may be placed on the surface of Taylor Lake
       subject to the following rules and regulations:



            A. Only Member Residents shall place ice fishing shanties
 
              on the surface of Taylor Lake.



            B. Only one ice shanty per Member Resident household shall
               be placed on the surface of Taylor Lake.



            C. Each ice shanty placed on the surface of Taylor Lake
               shall clearly display the name and address of the Member
               Resident.



            D. Ice shanties shall be timely removed from the surface of
               Taylor Lake so as to avoid sinking or settling in the
               event of a thaw.



            E. Violation of the provisions subsections 5 A though 5 D
               of these regulations shall subject the Member Resident to
               a fine not to exceed the sum of twenty five (25.00)
               dollars per violation.



This ordinance passed by unanimous vote at the August 13, 1989 annual
meeting of the Taylor Lake Homeowners’ Association.
The underlined sections are amendments to the suggested regulation.
